Yes, I know it happens to everyone at some point, and the answer is to buy something new to make it faster, make it handle better, make it cuter (or prettier....).

However, I don't know where to start. I absolutely love my Miata, even more so now that it's my weekend car and not my daily driver (it feels more special to jump in it after a week).

I've been thinking about buying a new exhaust for it... or intake... something. Right now it's all stock except for a custom intake and slightly modded stock exhaust (and test pipe), and a little suspension work. I'd like to go FI in the future, but with my other hobby, it's difficult to save money (I could if I really tried, but I don't wanna).

Any suggestions to help me reignite my interest? I don't want her just sitting there forlornly without me playing with her...

Somebody help me (should this go in the Bull section?).

Mod it out with a turbo or SC, then go back to using it as a DD. I find the Miata alot of fun and stress reliever after a long day of work. By driving it all the time I know what I want to do to it and what I want to improve.

No AC... that leaves out DD status

My Integra is a comfy DD and I use it for that, but I'm thinking of selling it and getting a truck (I'm getting into larger and larger RC planes. The Integra won't be able to suffice for a trnasport soon ).

The Miata just feels better after waiting to drive it

You could always take it apart and put it in boxes for a year or so... reassemble it, and reignite the passion that way.
