So what do you guys use to clean your convertible tops? Got some black spots on the '02 (tan top) that I just seem to get clean, plus the top doesn't shine like it did back in the day.
TIA

Have you tried Simple Green?

Lightness? What's that? I drive a PRHT!
I've heard Magic Eraser from Mr. Clean works well. A friend with a tan '99 top used with good results. But I've heard that it may slightly lighten the overall color of your top. You might want to try it in a small hidden area first. YMMV,as I'm giving advice finishing off a bottle of champagne and eating Cheetos...

Don't eat your Magic Eraser until you try it on the top of the yellow car and report back here.Magic Eraser is considered non-toxic. As with any sponge-like product, when swallowed this product may block the gastrointestinal tract.
