Problem is that Karen wouldn't have eaten it. It's a shame we lost both of them....

Funny... there was a time when that was the norm at almost all concerts. My first concert 21 years ago was Huey Lewis and the News. It was also my first contact high.
I knew I liked BJ, great taste in music.

Have fun BR. You'll make it.

When Soren was in the womb, we went to see Prince, then I made her go see Primus. Two completely different shows.

No, you are thinking about that Garth Black guy. Or, maybe Clint Brooks? Well maybe it was Koby Teeth.
On the track, I am fearless.
If you were as slow as me, you wouldn't be afraid either.

Yep.. BJ and I both appreciate a wide variety of music. We were at the Pink/Justin Timberlake show in February, and she went to the Tim McGraw/Faith Hill show last night. I have seen everyone from Willie Nelson to Public Enemy, to The Who. She tends to see a lot more concerts these days then I do though... I got pretty burnt out on live shows when I worked at a radio station in my previous career. Doing promotions at 60 concerts (closer to 100 when you consider a large percentage of them did 2 show in a night of which I was usually there for both) can do that to you.

Say what you want about his comedy, but Gallagher is one of the nicest, most down to earth performers I have ever met. He sought out us radio guys to hang out with before the show (said he could only hear the same stories from his roadies so many times ), and he hung out with the audience for over an hour after the show posing for pictures and signing autographs.

A friend took me to a Manson concert in Ft. Worth back in '99 or so. It was a good show, very theatrical and quite entertaining even though I only knew 2 or 3 of his songs. Never felt unsafe, either. Great people watching, too

Concert was good. Trina liked it a lot. I thought it was just ok. We got there later as we had no real interest in the opening band.

We arrived about an hour late at 8pm. Glad we brought earplugs. We could hardly hear each other but we heard the music just fine.

The crowd was well behaved. We never felt unsafe. You could certainly tell the Slayer fans from the Manson fans though. Some drunk guy chatted us up for a bit. We also had some sweet smelling smoke around us.

Slayer played until a bit after 9pm. The were loud and the music was pretty good if you like hard metal. The show was typical rock concert with lots of lights but no explosions.
Manson started at 10:15pm but only played until 11:30pm. His theatrics were minimal but the music was good. It just wasn't the same as what I saw several years ago. Kind of tame like his latest CD.
    ...and across the line.

Don't ask me how I know, but in the Army you need to have at least a 25 ng concentration in order for them to try to prove use. A strong contact high will show at most 15 ng if measured within the first 48 hrs after exposure. The test they use has a error margin of ~+/-10 ng.
