Sunday, March 1st is the SCCA Solo Test-N-Tune at Pennington Field!
The minimum number of entries has been met for this event. This has prompted the Solo BOD to open the event to walk-up registrations. However, walk-up registrations will have an additional $5 late fee.
You must be an SCCA member to participate in the Test-N-Tune day. No "Weekend" memberships will be available for this event.
The day will begin at 9:00am & will close no later than 4:00pm.
Your entry fee includes as many runs as you need until the end of the day. Entry is per person, not per car!
Cars will have to pass regular SCCA Tech Inspection prior to running.
There will be a short AutoX course, Skid Pad & a Slalom.
Entries will be capped at 50 & is half full at this time.
To avoid the Late Fee, make sure you pre-register before Saturday morning, February 28th. Again, walk-up registration will be allowed but with an additional $5 fee.
Thanks,
Texas Region Solo.

Hrmm $50 for P-Field practice? Is that due to the lower # of participants? I thought it was fairly cheap to rent the site.

Yes, the lower number of entries does require a higher entry fee.
Texas Region Solo still has to pay an insurance fee plus a Sanction fee to the National Office, regardless of the site rental fee.
Texas Region Solo has the highest operating cost of any of the local autocross clubs!
