i told you not to buy a car that smells like cat pee. just get rid of the actuators and rig a rod to prop them up at night, it will even save weight. j/k i actually have no useful input on this topic.
I have a 93 miata that I recently purchased from a friend. I went and washed it the other day at the car wash and after I was done took it home and after a little while the pop ups just started going crazy, up and down, up and down. So I unplugged them thinking the connectors had gotten wet. Its been over a week now and they are still doing the same thing. My friend and I washed the car before and it did the same thing, but we actually pressure washed the engine bay and even then it was fine after a day of being disconnected and letting them dry out. I was wondering if anyone else has had this problem before and what they did to solve it. Is there a relay box that might have gotten wet? Any advice would be really appreciated.

I had what sounds like a similar problem on my '92 when I first got it, turned out to be the switch on the dash for the headlight override was not clipped into place.
The P.O. had just had Circuit City replace the radio and the installer didn't get it plugged in correctly.
Maybee its trying to flirt with you, you should give it some lovin

Sounds like you need a good pop-up blocker!
