    None of the above!

I like the 700's but next year I hope the have a 14" 710! :afro:

Did you get a new car for next year?

Edit: I see you changed you post. Currently no 14", that was why I was asking.

Kumho was going to offer a 14" the first time around before the recall. Hopefully they will offer them next year. But I may or may not need a 14" tire.....

You coming to play ES next year??

I'm leaning heavily toward it. The steering rack and steering wheel are the only missing pieces right now. It seems that a 97 R Package was about 2500 less than a maxed out STS2. Plus if I sell the goodies on it now I will probably come out ahead, barely.

I don't care who ya are, that's just funny!

Personally between the two I'd go with the Victoracers. I wasn't that happy with the Ecsta V700s I had this year - bought 'em shaved & heat-cycled, didn't abuse them, and they (quite literally) came apart on me after about 48 runs.

I've gotten almost 150 runs out both of the sets of Victoracers I've used on the Miata. Of course, they really aren't worth much for the last 30-50 runs, since they tend to heatcycle to death before they run out of tread.

Still, if the V710s are available in whatever size you need next season, I'd take them over either the Ecsta V700s or Victoracers in a heartbeat. They offer a lot more grip, you don't need to shave them, and I've got 52 runs on my current set with plenty of grip left and I've only recently flipped them for the first time.
