Default Well, POS, your wish comes true...

POS, I said we wouldn't be buying Gwen a car until the Honduh gave up the ghost or close to it... well, by the sounds of it today, the Accord has lost it's higher gears. She called me up to tell me that on her way to work the car was revving way up in the band and that the car would not upshift... argh...

Ya rat bastard, you hexed my car!!

Tough call... she really loves her 12 year old Accord... I don't even know where to begin looking for a junkyard tranny for a Honda.

Sounds like a clogged filter in the tranny to me... That or a blown fuse. Don't tell her I said that.

So I guess she is already prepared for the duct tape and rubber band fix on the Accord that you have planned? Poor Gal!

She beat me to it... she's already called AAA! The car will be on it's way to Danny's Import in Lewisville later this afternoon for a diagnosis.

Yeah, 'cause everyone needs an $80k Mercedes "sedan" without enough rear headroom for a pair of midgets.

    Bean,

If you end up keeping the Accord and need to have some work done on it, contact marcucci on this board. He works out of his home shop, but I'd trust him to do the best quality work on Hondas in DFW for the best price.

Your right he should look for at least a 10 year old Benz owned by a proctologist. Opps no wait wasn’t that was the car you were looking at Altiain

I like that $80K Mercedes and since it’s not my $$$$$ I think 3Bean should get Gwen one, maybe 2!

Y'know, I went and looked at that AMG - it was a really nice car, but it wasn't what I was looking for. It will be a nice $12k car for someone, just not for me.

If I was going to spend $80k of someone else's money on a 4-door sedan, I'd skip the CLS and go shopping for a pre-Bangle BMW M5.
