billccsi is their any specific rules for convertibles? In the past I have seen variations on the rules dependent on who was running the event.

I don't have a roll bar, but I do have a hardtop!

This is pretty much designed for novices. If you've done one of the "Miatas at the Ranch" events or other DE events, you'll be bored....

If I have a miata by then I will probably do it. We will just have to see. (I think I'm a novice)

I'd ask billccsi it's his event.

BTW. CosmosMpower have you seen the information on the RX7 Club Track Day? Looks like they will be opening the Event to all cars.

We still have a few openings, (4, I think), and the deadline has been extended to the end of August.

    To answer questions:
Drivers will be grouped by skill & experience.
This IS geared toward novice to intermediate drivers.
This is a real DE, operated by Apex Driving Acadamy, (which is based at MSR), with the emphasis on driving skills and safety issues.
You do NOT need to be a member of LSMC
YOU are responsible for the suitability and condition of your car.
    Helmets are required

    Cost is $150.
Date is November 28th, (Monday after Thanksgiving)

To get in on this contact me off list at billccsi @ hotmail.com ASAP.

I might be in, I just cant afford it right now. Tuition and books and rent take priority right now. But by the 16th that might be different.
