This is why I'm leery of "active" cruise control...

Actualy the full story on that is that it wasn't actualy the cruise controls fault... it wasn't even on! One of the Merc engineers said that the test wouldn't work where they wanted to do it(inside of a hangar type area) becuase of all the metal would cause interference with the system. So the journalist being a big idiot decided that they would just run the test without the cruise and they put down planks at where the driver should start breaking.... buuuuuuuuuuuut since the suspension is so soft on the S-class the driver didn't actualy feel the board....and you know the rest :p

The journalist has since appologized haha.
