Would you like to see MORE S2000 autocrosses next season?

I know there are quite a few of us on this board that really enjoy the S2000 autocrosses. Well, marcucci is trying to get enough people interested in expanding the season so that they'll have more than 5 events next year. However, they'll need two things to make it happen: 1) Interest in expansion, and 2) volunteers to help out with setup, teardown, running timing & scoring, etc.

I know a few of us have kicked around the idea of getting more involved with the S2k events - well, here's our perfect opportunity. If you're interested, please post on this thread on the www.s2ki.com forums.

These are the best events in the DFW area - if we want to keep 'em that way (i.e., help the people running it now to keep from getting burned out) and expand the series next season, here's the perfect chance to get the ball rolling!

Before I get drug under the bus for this. Marcucci asked me to remove that thread. It was unrelated to the proposed expansion. :)

I would give up all other AXing if the NTS2KOC folks put on an event once each week .

Seriously, I doubt you'll get anyone -- at least on this board -- that would think expanding the NTS2KOC season is a bad idea. We all rave about their events, and justifiably so. I don't really know what their concern is... they are always having to cap their events because they are so popular. I'm sure they could put on another 2 or 3 events without even batting an eye.

And as for extra help, I'm determined to be the AXWare guru of North Texas (ok, maybe I won't go that far), as I'm working computer at both Equipe Rapide and SCCA events. If they need help with the computer -- whether they expand or not -- I am definitely willing to help.
