Altiain, it's good to hear you have so much faith in the prospect of criminals obeying gun laws.
I do not share your confidence that they will. Rather, I fear that such gun laws would leave criminals as the only ones with guns as law-abiding people turn theirs in. Then our burglary, mugging and other crime rates will skyrocket as they have in the UK.

Buy, I sure went off the handle last night, didn't I?

BTW, violent crime rates in the UK may be on the rise, but they're still an order of magnitude lower per capita than they are here in the states.

C'est la vie. I know it's not going to change anytime soon. The U.S. may not be the perfect place to live, but it's still better than most other places.
