    Default Recall Notice

    Found an envelope in the mail today from Mazda! In big red letters it says, "Important Emission Recall Notice".

    Anyone else got this recall yet??

    It's for our 2002 Miata (Vivid's car)

    BTW. jason hiley we will be taking the car to Freeman in Irving.

    What part is defective, or does it say? Hope its not too dangerous.

    It's just an emission deal that from what I have found. It gets the car a new Powertrain Control Module.

    I wonder if the new PCM comes with an enhancement to lower performance...

    Never mind...

    The board has the info here...

    In short: It loweres cold emissions and doesn't affect performance... It's one of those gubbamint things...

    2001 & 2002s are affected by the recall.
