    Default Changing Oxygen Sensor..Help

I am about to change the O2 sensor in my '94. I have the Bosch #15730 to splice in. But, I'm not sure which wires to splice together. The car has 2 blk wires, a wht and a blu wire. I think the 2 blk wires are for the heater, the white is ground and the blue is the signal wire.

    The plug looks like this.
    ---------
    /blue blk\
    \wht blk/
    ---------
    ..\||/

On the Bosch sensor, the signal wire is blk, the 2 heater wires are wht and the ground is gry.

I think I should wire it this way.....
    Bosch sensor - Miata plug
    blk - blu
    wht - blk
    wht - blk
    gry - wht

Is this correct? Or will I cause a rip in the fabric of the space-time continuum.

I have already looked on the board and got no joy.

    From Bosch's Website :

All Bosch 4-wire sensors have a black wire for the signal, a gray wire for ground and 2 white wires for the heater. Note: the wire colors and functions on non-Bosch sensors are not necessarily the same as on Bosch sensors.

yeah... I'm getting that from a printout that came with my O2 sensor from FM... looking now to see if there is a PDF version on their site that I can link to.

All finished. Everything worked out great. The car runs fine.

It looks like to old sensor was loose. It seems to me that the car is quieter now with the new sensor torqued in tightly.

Fewer exhaust gases whistling through the cockpit will make it quieter
