    Default Full Wheel Deal

Mrs. Thing, as some of you know, drives a 89 Buick Park Avenue. It has 14" wheels with wire hubcaps. Actually, two wire hubcaps, and replacements are $180 EACH
Several months ago, we discovered that one of the wheels is bent badly enough to be damaging the tire. Over a month ago, our local Discount dude talked Mrs. Thing into ordering new 14" brushed aluminum 5 spokes (@ $50 each ). They were not in stock as indicated, they have still not been made, and she is getting tired of waiting.
I just checked Tire Rack, and they only offer 16's to fit.

I'm looking for suggestions as to what to do or where to look. Please keep in mind the following points.

    She aint into the BlingBling.
It was a $5000 car 6 yers ago and has 180k miles.
We have new tires in size 14.
The clear coat and the headliner are turning loose.
It is paid for and is low maintenance - 26 mpg & a great road ride.
She is very seriously attached to the car...the way it is.

I second the junk yard ideal, although your history for buying used rims does come into question!

Did you peek at Tire Rack's winter tire packages they include steel wheels!

    Steel Wheels

    New Steel Wheel
    14X6
    Black Painted
    Estimated Availability:
    In Stock
    Price Each: $39

Then if you search 14" Buick on E-bay the wire wheel covers look like they are pretty reasonable!

What I like about ebay is that I just looked at all the 14" hubcaps they listed (487), and did not find those!

    What's the secret???
