Default SCCA Texas Region Solo School 3/17 Question

I have sent in my form and registration fee for the SCCA Texas Region Solo School on 3/17. I was wondering if there are any particular things I need to have or check before atttending? I have spoken with Phil Adams from Texas Region SCCA and the only thing he mentioned is that I might bring a helmet if I have one.

I was concerned that there would be some kind of tech inspection and I wanted to be sure that I would not have any issues when I got there after already paying the fee. I have already found and corrected a number of things I felt were issues. If anyone can assist me I would appreciate it.

    Thank you

If ya want I could take a peek at the car.

I'm east of 35 at about Basswood.

I can tell ya the SCCA inspectors like clean brake fluid, have ya flushed the brakes in recent history???

That is actually on my way home in the evenings. When would it be convenient for me to stop by?

My dad and I just bled the brakes Sunday and the brake fluid looks a ton better. We pumped and bled them until all of the coffee colored junk was out of each of the lines. We worked from the furthest point away from the MC to the front. The fluid in the resivoir is now a light yellow color.

Have ya heard anything back from them? I sent mine in a couple of weeks ago and have heard nada. Check hasn't been cashed, either. No big deal, but if other people are receiving confirmation I'll get worried.

Actually I just got it in the mail Monday so it will probably take a while before I hear back from them. If in about a week and a half I haven't heard back I am going to check with Phil Adams again. His contact info is on the form.

Looks like check-in is from 8:00 - 8:30. Anybody up for the McDonalds across the street at 7:30 AM?

Why not? I can't really stand their burgers but the breakfast isn't that bad, and I can get some caffeine to get me started off on the right foot.

Nothing like having to pee while you watch a PowerPoint for the first part of the class. The best part is that since we are in a locker room for the classroom portion, everyone will here you toot if you pee in the attached door-less restroom.

Actually, I have looked over the printed PowerPoint handout from last year on multiple occasions to remind me of basics.

We had already decided on McDonalds for Saturday. (Scroll up.) Since some of the other folks coming to the AX prefer Einteins, I was going to suggest that for Sunday.
