This has been covered, but just for you : Yes ER uses chalk to mark sections of the course.

If you want to try AX, Pennington is good in the fact that it is small. It would be tough to get lost, especially if the course is as challenging as the last ER event (can you say circle...). Close to Grapevine too. Register and pay when you get there.

I am pretty new to the AX thing, but like Sammm said this is a good event. I liked the ER event I have been to the course was easy to follow and the PAX runs for the extra $10 are well worth it. I also liked Pennington the 3 or four times I have been out there. There seems to be quite a bit of grip, and the different slopes and what not make for a fun ride.

It is in the shopping center on the southeast corner of Central Dr. and 183 in Bedford. Just come down 121 and exit on Central Dr.

If he asks just tell him you already have plans... I mean what is the worst he can do? You are already thinking about leaving. This might help make you decision a little easier.
