Yahoo email virus???
Anybody run into a Yahoo mail virus yet? I just opened something from my cousin that I think I probably shouldn't have, and now my Inbox says I've got 206 unread messages when I have none. Plus my Inbox actually only has 204 visible messages in it. I can't find much of anything that's of use from Google, but I thought I'd put this out there.
BTW, this email contained a link to a Yahoo video.

Try scanning your machine with a couple of different programs. http://housecall.trendmicro.com is a good web based anti-virus program and AdAware from http://www.lavasoft.de is a good anti-spyware program.

my yahoo does that sometimes too ... or it will show new messages when there are none, it usually fixes itself after a logout and back in ... i dont think it is a virus as it does it on all 3 of my pcs including my work one which is locked down pretty tight

It's doing it on both of my PCs, so I think it is Yahoo-related. It's also isolated to just one of my Yahoo accounts. It hasn't fixed itself yet - still shows I have 200+ unread msgs in my Inbox, but it's empty. From what I've been able to dig up, it may be a worm...
