Looks like they replaced the Majik Skidpad with a Chicago box. Anybody notice any other differences?

The skid pad is gone, sections have been moved to avoid gravel, and the slaloms and s-curves have been tweaked. As far as the weather goes, holding steady at a mere 30% according to the National Weather Service.

If you know you are not going to make it please unregister yourself on DLB so that people who want your spot can attend. This also helps us with assigning work. Thanks.

Hey Natalie - long time no see.

From dowtown I'd say Mineeral Wells is about 1.5 hour drive, depending on your speed.

From the schedule on their website, it looks like the driver's meeting is scheduled for about 9am. If you're planning on competing, I'd suggest being there no later than 8:30am. If you're just coming out to spectate, we'll probably be there until about 3-4pm.

    418. 7:00 is great since early starts are important once Daylight Savings is over...

Or, you can come straight out and help with setup at 6:30!

I'll try to be there by 7:30. Have to take my wife to the airport in the morning and have her there around 6:30am.

I'm out. Too much stuff going on. I didn't have time to fix the exhaust and prevent it from hitting the axle. Oh well, maybe next time.

QFMFT, great job, great course, no delays, and great timing with the weather.

Agreed. Another fun event. Great course, great people, and great fun. Can't wait for the expanded season next year.

I enjoyed getting the opportunity to drive a bunch of other people's cars yesterday (350Z, MR-Spyder, STi, JRW's Miata)... but I'll go more into detail in a more appropriate section of the forum.

Really appreciate Tailchaser giving me the opportunity to co-drive his “big block” Miata yesterday. TC really has this car sorted out it was a lot of fun to drive!

I also got to take a fun run in lost 216 Miata it was also a really nice driving car! The ABS on it was pretty darn neat!

As always the S2K guys put on a great AX! Those of you who think you may want to do more than just read about AX need to make it out to an S2K event next year!

Any words on how expanded it will be

Yeah, it was fun after I got all my spins of the day out of the way in my first run.

My understanding was 8 events total. Maybe clovis will chime in and let us know more.
