    Default 90-97 Fuel pressure

New miata owner here. I'll post on the intro section when I upload a few pictures of the car.

What is the factory fuel pressure with the vacumm line off? I tried searching for this but came up short. Most of the info I found was for newer miatas with returnless systems.

    TIA

As I recall, for the 90-93, fuel pressure should be around 35 psi at idle, and it should jump up about 10 psi when you remove the vacuum hose from the factory FPR. I do not know if the same applies to the 94-97.

    Welcome to the forums.

From the 1.8 Enthusiast's Shop Manual...

After depressuring system, turn ignition on for 10 sec., the system should hold at least 21 psi.
    Max pressure 64-85 psi
Idle pressure 32-38 psi for '94-'96 models and 29-35 psi for '97 models
disconnect the vacuum hose and pressure should rise to around 41 psi.
On the track, I am fearless.
If you were as slow as me, you wouldn't be afraid either.

Hopefully that answered your question but in the future knowing whether you have a 90-93 or a 94-97 makes a difference in people being able to help you. In general the more info you can provide the better people will be prepared to help you.
