Ordered a new steering box for my v8 - rx7 wanna help?

I ordered a new steering box for my bastard rx7 because that is the weakest point on the car at this point. I just ordered this morning, so I wont expect the part for a week or so, and I was wondering if anyone would like to help swap the box out? Maybe next weekend?

I am living in an apartment, but I do have a garage, just need to buy some more jack stands (gotta love the way a divorce divests you of most of your stuff....) and a jack. I have swapped it before, and it isnt terrible, just easier with a little help....

New box? or did you go for the C&P Racing Rack& pinion kit?

(if you're talking about crappy steering, I assume it's a 1st gen Rx7?)

I ordered a new box from MazdaMotorsports.com. I would have loved to do the conversion to rack and pinion, but it is my understanding that it doesnt work on the 302 conversion cars. The sump gets in the way....

I was hoping you went for the C&P kit... that way I could see how involved the install is myself..

Didn't know it didn't work with the 302 swap though... that's no bueno...

Well I pulled the old box today and am pooped. Is anyone free for a couple of hours on Sunday? Installing the new box is better with two people.... It would be a little greasy work.... PM me if you can...
