Default Now this is my kind of motor swap

    If you hadn't guessed already, that's an F20C1 out of a '00-'03 S2000.

Mmmm... a 2200 pound Miata with 240 naturally aspirated horsepower and a 9000rpm redline. The only thing sweeter would be a Renesis swap, imho. I like the fact that he swapped the gauge cluster as well.

Here's a link to the thread on the board.

Kindof makes my little swap, well..... small.
Hmm what is decent? Are we talking about your decent or my decent? I'm just curious because I don't want to offend anyone else's decent...

    Uhm,

Nice, but they better figure out a better place to pull air. Knock, knock anybody home.

Very nice! A couple of things -

1 - Did they actually install the S2K dash instruments too?

2 - What are they doing for headlights? (No sign of barn-doors)

Given the dash only has a Tach, I am guessing this is a race only car. Therfor headlights not required

You've never sat behind the wheel of an S2000 before, have you?

That's the entire dash cluster out of an S2000... including the digital numerical speedometer display, fuel level, and water temp displays. It's got just as much instrumentation as any '94+ Miata.

As for headlights, if you read the thread I linked in my first post, the owner is apparently still trying to decide on a headlight solution.

I am infinitely jealous. Now if I could just find a nice RX-8 that went rear-end first into a ditch...

    Nice. Very nice!

I would love to see a picture of the shifter to see how well it matched up.
