1: You have shocks, not struts
2" drill a hole and pay someone to tack that nut in place with a MIG, but I don't know specifically what that looks like in there because I've never had this problem.
Well it looks like the folks I bought my miata from a few weeks ago said they put new struts on it...so they broke that little tab that locks that nut into place on the bottom o the strut. It came lose today at the BMW school and now it just spins when I try to tighen it back up....I can't get a wrench inside to keep that sqaure nut from spinning...have any of u guys had this prob?...
