Thread: Stupid Bolt

    Default Stupid Bolt

I'm trying to track down the bolt that hold the downpipe to the bracket (40-081). The p/n on the bolt doesn't seem to get me anywhere (99796-0875).

Does anyone happen to know the specs on this bolt?

Is the bracket threaded? If so, carry it in to your favorite big box store and find one that fits! If not, buy a nut and bolt that fits!

It isn't a nut and bolt the 40-081 bracket has a weld nut on it. The 40-356C doesn't really lend itself to removal either.

Was hoping someone had hands on this bolt in the recent past I'm pretty sure (but not 100%) the bolt I need is 12mm but unsure of the required length.

    Yes please!

Looks like I need to make a trip up to prop-wash to take you up on your generous offer for the great tire switch-a-roo.

Vulcan Tire seems to have taken my $$$ and has yet to even reply to my e-mails asking what is the status on my Azenis. Would have thought they would have been in my greasy little hands today......

Couldn't you have at least let him get a little worked up before pointing that out?
