Thread: Fuel Line Disconnect Tool

    Default Fuel Line Disconnect Tool

What does it look like? Where to get it? What sizes needed? Thanks
What's left of a '96 Miata with stock clutch.
My car exceeds my driving ability. That's the only possible explanation.

You can pick it up at Autozone. Ask for the RED fuel disconnect tool. It should be less than $10.

The ones I saw at Autozone were in a 4-pack(4 dif sizes) for $10. One was red. They are plastic and look like the tool hinges. Is this what I need?

There should be a red anodized aluminum one available.

Wish I had seen this thread earlier Mark. I bought that exact same set yesterday so I could change my fuel filter.

Sammmy, I thought you were with us when TurboDuane and I got lost looking around Carrollton for that tool. I believe we were at Kags' place working on the removing/replacing of his engine.

I was at Kag's place that day, but I think I left while you and TD went out and got lost. I saw the anodized version yesterday at O'Reillys. Since I wasn't sure of the size I needed, I bought the plastic set with 5-6 different sizes in it. Worked fine BTW.
