So what do they having you doing over in Iraq??
Where are you at in Iraq??
Hey Guys.
I'm here in Iraq now, doing good. Everythings going good.
We're working alot, 10 hours a day with a day off every 8th day. I prefer 8 hour day with the weekend off, but hey not my call.
Chows not too bad. Their Healthy selection isn't too bad.
We get great deals on pirated DVDs! I got the 5 seasons of Family Guy for about 30 bucks.
Weather isn't too hot anymore. Kuwait reached 130 on a couple days while we were there. Thats freaking hot.
Iraq stinks, I've heard Korea smells worse though.
Any specific questions?
How's TX?
Chris

If forgot, is this your first time out there?
If you run into Sgt. Shawn Dunkin, 19D scout, tell him Kamil says hi. I is in 10th Mountain Div from Ft. Drum, NY.

Hey! Keep safe out there! Make sure to keep your head on a swivel.
Seen any funky foreign cars we don't get to see?
POS, I don't think they'll let him answer that question too specifically... we just recently did some family satellite hook-ups and the fellas couldn't tell their significant others where they were.
If you or the fellas around you need stuff, let me know (calling cards, etc.)... I'd like to send whatever I can to help.
Good idea. Count me in. Miatamaniac92 what can we send you? What do you need?
On the track, I am fearless.
If you were as slow as me, you wouldn't be afraid either.

I've got plenty of car magazines that I'd love to pass along. Man, please be careful over there. Hope to have you home soon.

I am in Ballad, LSA Anaconda. It is a huge AF Base. It depends where you are at and what the current OPSEC procedures are on how specific you can be. You can even see it on maps.google. LoL
I am working on helicopters right now.
Let me know who is gonna send a package and I will PM the address.
This is my first time over here.
I've actually seen a couple newer Mercedes on Post, it's crazy. The busing system uses small European buses with no leg room.
We don't need Calling Cards, they have VOIP phones set up that are only .04 a minute.
Some general stuff you can send: Magazines, beef jerky/slim jims, almonds, pistachios, razors, coffee are all I can think of now.
We have a pretty good PX, but they can't seem to keep Soap and Shampoo in stock. It's a good thing I was already stocked up and I use an electric razor. They always have Red Bulls and cold Starbucks Fraps in stock though.
We have two wanna-be Starbucks (white-man's crack) on post, they're called Green Beans. They also have the craptacular fast food of Burger King, Pizza Hut, and Popeye's.
Send as little or as much as you want, I will distribute it out.
Everyone appreciates all the support and well wishes.
Chris
Yup, I haven't been to a post without a BK and Popeye's. I guess they are GI with the post.
Post must be equiped with:
resturant, burger type, King in name, orange in color, 1 ea.
resturant, chicken type, fried, 1 ea.
Take care of your self and your battle buddies.

Cool. POS reports that he has a huge stash of porn that he is willing to donate.
S.
I am not supposed to accept porn in the host country, but I have to say Iraq has the best bacon out of all the Middle Eastern countries I have been too.
Chris
Don't know if you all ever heard about guys mailing home a Jeep part by part while he was in the service.
I think we need to mail him a Miata, between us all, we should be able to scrounge up all the parts
To do list: carpet X1, seatcovers X1
