Dang that Sucks!! Hope the only damage is the gutter or it may be insurance time. -Wes-
What was the top 30 feet of my neighbor's tree is now sitting on my roof. The gutter is clearly FUBARed... I hope the roof itself is OK.

It only goes to show when people can no longer discriminate on the grounds of race, religion, or sexual orientation, they can improvise and still find someone to hate. - Dave Moulton
I believe the damage won't be assessable until the tree is removed. The main limb that broke is currently being supported by another limb in the tree. If it comes loose, it looks like it may swing down and break the window right below it. Because of this, I really don't want to wait very long. This is also the main reason why I won't touch it... Minimizing damage is clearly a job for a professional.
Also, I wasn't going to call his insurance, I was going to call mine. They should have been able to get the ball rolling and make sure I don't get stuck holding a bill. At this point though, it doesn't really matter, as he just called.
