1990 NA for sale ($3k obo)
****CAR IS SOLD, FRAME RAIL BRACES STILL FOR SALE***
I dont want to, but sometimes you have to make the tough decisions. im flexible on the price, and willing to sell the frame rail braces separately for $125
Heres the cl ad: http://dallas.craigslist.org/ndf/cto/4382376503.html
Up for sale is my 1990 NA Miata. I don't want to sell it. In fact, my heart is breaking as I write this. It was the last project my Dad and I worked on before he passed away, but the time has come and I have to part ways with it, as I have neither the time nor the space to get it running again.
The good:
NO ENGINE MODS, not even intake or exhaust.
Custom paint job (no vinyl here)
Flyin Miata Stage 1 suspension kit
Polyurethane suspension bushings
Flyin Miata frame rail braces (not installed yet)
Factory hardtop (with side striker plates and everything!)
Konig Retrack wheels (15x7.5")
Garage Vary retro tail lights (I paid $1100 brand new for these)
Baer Decelarotor slotted/drilled rotors and Hawk brake pads
Paint is is tip-top shape apart from one little chip on the headlight cover
The Bad:
Blown head gasket. (This is the worst thing, and if you are a reasonably experienced wrench-turner this shouldn't be an issue for you. work and family keep me so busy that I just can't get around to it. That and I live in an apartment which makes this kind of project nearly impossible.)
Radiator fans are not working. (I suspect strongly that this is the cause of the blown head gasket...)
AC needs to be recharged (R-12...I know)
The Ugly:
Corbeau Forza 2 racing buckets. (this might be a good thing for you, I dunno. they're sun faded a little and have a few tears. They WILL hold your butt in place like gorilla glue though, so at least they're functional.)
Some carpet bits are missing, and the carpet that is remaining is a rather faded red color...
You'll have to tow this beauty home yourself, unless you feel like attempting to limp it slowly while it leaks coolant. Your choice.
Again, I really hate to see her go. She is an absolute RIOT to drive, even with the engine bone stock. But I have to put first things first, and right now, I can't be paying insurance on a car I'm not driving, so lucky you.
