That I don't know. But yeah, I would definitely jump the pins and set it correctly, then go from there if needed.
Fixed the problem with the car holding the RPMs up and getting hung up, the car started stalling out and would never run correct till was warm and would still hold the rpms around 2000 and not come back down for 15-20 seconds.
Turns out there was a vacuum leak in the back of the motor under the CAS, i couldn't find a hose that was suppose to go their, So i capped the vacuum leak off and the car is running better then ever and idling smooth
There is no hose there - it's just a large rubber cap from the factory.
That is for the automatic trans modulator, and is on the back of the intake.
I put an old spring clamp from the coolant line on them.
I JBWelded a penny to mine the first time I ever pulled the motor. I do regular boost/vacuum tests and it has neve once leaked.
Can't say I ever looked into what that nipple was for, so thanks for that info.
Good thing it wasn't needed, capped it and all is good now with his car.
