Thanks to a spot opening up on the waiting list last week, I'll be at this event in my S2000. I will also have another exhaust system that I'm considering mass producing. Since exhaust sound is so subjective, I would really, really appreciate as much feedback as I can get about how it sounds from outside the car. I actually haven't heard it from the outside myself, so it's really important for me to get some opinions about it.
My S2000 is white with plain black wheels and 3 black cutouts on the hood. I don't know what number I'll be, since I can't register through DLBRacing...
Vtech=cheap cordless phone producer
VTEC=Honda variable valve timing system
It's "VTEC, yo." Get it right.
Ken + Gernby's S2000 monster = deadly combo. I've seen how Ken drives, he's got a heavy foot!

With that said, good luck everybody tomorrow. I'm really looking forward to a great event. Thanks for letting me be a part of it.

My first time axing FWD car. As boring as it may sound, I am super excited to drive something I own with decent rubber after years...may not be able to sleep tonight.

What a cold but fun day! Those courses were brilliant and I most certainly want to run the morning version again in dry conditions. Way to go Jerrett! And thanks for letting me announce...it's pretty fun :)
Great day, considering we are autocrossing in January! Lots of new cars and faces, along with our regulars. Amazing how tight the competition was today, even across the classes. Really a balanced course, obviously. I struggled with the am course, but the pm course more than made up for it. Fastest speeds I've hit at Crandall; on the rev limiter several places. Pretty impressive for 60-sec courses.
Only downside is a 5 week wait for the season to start in earnest. :confused:
I threw some quick photos together here:

Good shots in there. Thanks!
Man, what an awesome event! I've been autocrossing on and off since '93, and have NEVER enjoyed an event that envolved moisture. When I opened the garage door this morning, and saw that my driveway was wet, I was SO tempted to push the garage door button again to close it. It was only because I had already committed to Jerret and Ken that I followed through.
I'm so friggin' glad I did, since I think the wet parts of the course today were just new technical eliments I haven't experienced before. I loved it!
I'm so glad that Ken co-drove with me too, since he gave me great pointers, and riding along with him helped a ton. The pointers that I got from Iain at the last event really paid off too! The softer sway bar that I installed last night made my car so much more controllable.
My only regret is that I didn't think more like a "business man" today. I should have allowed Ken to drive while the course was more dry, instead of making him drive when it was more wet. I should have "rooted for the car" instead of trying to snag the personal win.
