Jesus.... I knew Miatas were tiny... but I thought they were some what decent in a car accident, designed well so things like this couldnt happen... That makes me scared to get on the highway. Is this what happens when a Miata gets in an accident??? Death guaranteed?

Please... it was 75mph head on in to a stone wall. What do you expect to happen?

Weren't you in an accident in a Miata? You're still alive.

I understand that you are in college right now. Take a physics class.

I didn't know it was 75 into a stone wall lol. And yeah... my accident was at 0-10 MPH. He accelerated into it.

I saw 67 year old woman and just figured she would been driving slow since it seemed like a residential neighborhood.

Anyways.... I get chills looking at the crash... it's my EXACT style and color Miata.Wild.. the engine must have went through and is sitting in the seats where the woman was....

In truth? I was over exaggerating a response to incite conversation. Though I've never seen a car pancaked in like that. And college is pretty easy so far... I don't really know much in truth. Nowadays an associates is the same as what a highschool degree was back in the day. Though this is just me answering your rhetorical question. out of boredom... waiting for tomorrow to come. You should go answer my bubbling overflow tank and window regulator questions, I bet you know more about cars than I do.

Thank you for owning up to trolling. Enjoy fixing your own car by yourself. If you run into any problems, I'm sure Miata Technologies would be more than happy to solve them for you.

    G'night!

This is an interesting one, what happens when you take a ford focus (which like many small cars these days is capable of triple digit speeds) and slam it into a wall at 120 mph. Shows why it's a good idea to just go the speed limit. Fifth gear has a lot of these interesting crash tests (not your standard safety rating tests). They do things like slamming cars into a bunch of parked cars at highway speeds (simulating cresting a blind hill into a traffic jam). It's awesome.

Wild. It's amazing watching something so strong, so built, look as if it's just disappearing into a wall because it's compressing so fast.
