really no one has one i could hook up for just a few minutes to see if my idle control valve is working? i could even come to you and pull it out of your car it wouldnt take more then an hour from start to finish
i am having an idle issue on my 90 1.6. my electronic idle valve works fine however is not getting the command signal from the ecu, all wiring looks fine but ive been to lazy to actually get the wiring diagram and check continuity. but if anyone has a 1.6 i could snap in for a few minutes to check and see if it solves my problem i would be happy to meet up with you.
btw i live in fort worth and work in euless

So... you don't know what is wrong, but think that you may have fried your ecu.... You want somebody to give you their ecu to troubleshoot? Obviously there is NO way that their ecu could get fried too (if that is the problem) since you haven't really checked anything yet.
Um, yeah. I'm gonna need you to think this through just a bit...

ok i have confirmed that both the electronic idle valve and the mechanical one are functioning properly. i can probe the electronic it valve and it will pop back and forth from engaged to disengaged. i have good ground coming from the harness at the connector but i am not getting voltage at the connector with the car running. the only thing i have not tested is continuity on the signal wire from the ecu to the valve.
