Default Dec 9th 2017 Club Trials and PDX at MSRC

From the Texas Region Club Trials fb page:

Make sure you mark your calender's for the last event of the year on December 9th at MSR Cresson. We will be running the 1.7 CCW. It is also the Holiday Charity event so please try and bring a toy for charity!
Woohoo! I like the 1.7 CCW!

But question, ... Will this event be running in conjunction with The Driver's Edge? The TDE calendar shows a 1.7 CW event on this date at MSRC.

The Motorsport Ranch track calendar for December 9th lists this event on the 1.3 mile circuit. It shows that TDE has the 1.7.

SCCA Club Trials web site and fb both still showing 1.7.

No registration link up yet on motorsportreg.com

Yes, I see a lot of waitlisted folks. Discounting those, there are 41 other people signed up. No indication of how many for CT or PDX.

Those 41 people are split between 4 different groups. PDX and CT. CT has three different run groups (instructors, CT group 1, CT group 2). The track shouldn't be too crowded.

Fun shall be had by all!

I had no problem getting into the CT just now. The Wait List is for PDX.

I was worried about the weather too, but there is this in the event info on the SCCA site:

"Refunds will only be given on cancellations received by 10 pm Wednesday, December 6, 2017"

So, register for the CT and cancel. You will still have to pay the $25 for the transponder, but that is a small price to pay. The info about refunds on Motorsportreg is solely for Motorsport Reg. They do not deal with refunds -- you have to go to the club.

So, sign up for the CT, you bum.

You kids quit using these damn codes! What is a PDX and what is a CT?

I had a CT this spring I had to lay in a tube while a machine scanned me. Wasn't all that fun and certainly not worth a drive to MSR to ride in the CT....

You kids today with your code words and drugs...

I went in for a PDX and the doc stuck things where they don't belong!

So far, it will be dry. Cold in the AM, but a nice afternoon.

It is the 1.3 circuit. The Driver's Edge is on the 1.7 all weekend.

Take the short cut. That is one way to pass a Mustang.
