Welcome.
Hi there,
I was registered here a while back - around 2002-2003'ish? Sorry, memory's fading.. Anyway my name back then was "tx rainsux 99", or something like that. Some of you might remember me from back then - I had a silver/tan NB with the license plate "MX5 2NR". I was (still am) good friends with the guys that owned the Kedavi coffeeshop in Plano. Anyway, that car was sold a few years ago after I moved from the Dallas area to San Antonio. I am back (in the Miata world, unfortunately not the DFW area yet) with a NA project car I've been restoring/modifying since Feb of this year...
Anyway, just thought I'd re-introduce myself & say hi.. Just wondering if some of the guys I knew back then are still around...
BTW - I'm on CR.net under the same name, dunno how many of yall cross over there...
Welcome.
I remember you and welcome back!

Thanks guys! I moved to San Antonio about 5 years or so ago. I miss the "Miata scene" in Dallas but there's a few really, really cool Miata people I've met in San Antonio. It's definitely a smaller tight-knit family. Now that I've got a Miata again, it feels good to be back "home".
Flyin 96M - did you own (or still do) a blue/tan NA? Your name sounds awfully familiar....
Thanks!
I'll go ahead and post pics of the Miata's of past & present that have gone through my hands/going through my hands....

FWIW I have a build thread on CR.net: http://clubroadster.net/vb_forum/showthread.php?t=50231
Enjoy
How cool!!! IIRC, I met you at one of my first driving events - either at MSR or at one of the DE's at that football stadium parking lot, right? Great to hear back from you! Hope everything's been great, how's the car? done more events? I am trying to get my car together to hit up Harris Hill with my bro in law & his buddies sometime next year.
Yep we met at a PCA autocross and we both had Mitch, Maniac Mitch here, as our instructor. The car needs some work to be track worth again but I'm working on that. I got a membership at MSR so I just go there and don't do many DE's anymore. Glad you are back in to a Miata.
