broken stud, wrong fitting in the oil pan, and broken EZ out in the crank pulley means I'm not going to make it to Hallett, and now I don't care anymore...so back to the gym and I'll worry about the miata later.

hit the local home depot and buy the fitting you need...

i made the hole bigger so i can change the cap to a barb fitting when i'm ready to turbo or i can change it to a AN fitting to whenever i upgrade to stainless steel braided oil lines...

"and broken EZ out in the crank pulley"

post a picture of whatever is broken, i might have a spare one...

I'll switch to cops after I get it running.

I have the tap, just wish I didn't have to yank the pan off again.

I need a new crank pulley.

tomorrow the head is coming back off to do some precision clearancing for the coolant reroute. Then I have to jack with a few other things, and I'm home free. It may run tomorrow. Hopefully I get it running by saturday, because I'm leaving for austin for 3-6 months on sunday.

If you want to help, please holler at me...I'll buy lunch.

I may just pull the power steering. I drove wag's car and liked it on the track, but I want to drive it around town and see if I can survive. Unlike wags, I like to drive my car other place than the mansex meetings.

Our mansex meetings build biceps, triceps, and forearms - from what I understand. Those are the primary "manhandling" muscle groups - hence the lack of need for power steering. After this weekend at Hallett I'm thinking of going to a manual rack, manual brakes, and a big handlebar moustache.
