Default where to take catalytic converter for $$

I have the midpipe off my 99(recently sold) that has a good catalytic converter on it. the midpipe is cut before the muffler so it would require welding to attatch to an exhaust. should i attempt to sell it or would it be easier to simply sell the cat. last I checked catalytic converters were worth some $$$, where do i take it if so?

They're located in Fort Worth also. Keep in mind I haven't used them before I just used some google and typed in "Sell your catalytic converter in Fort Worth" and that's one of the first links that came up.

I just did some more research and it seems as though catalytic converter theft is up across the US since the rise in metal prices lol.

I just sold my dead one here for $100. Shipped it out on a Monday and had a check about a week later.

I took mine to Bishop Engine south of downtown Dallas. I think sxk122 found a place in Garland near Forest and Shiloh.
