    Default Making the leap today.

After wanting a Miata for years, I'm finally taking the plunge today (November 1st).

I will be picking up my "new" 1991 Miata in red. Super stoked to get the car and I'm looking forward to getting involved with the local Miata club.

I have had a couple of MINIs in the past, a Nissan 300ZX and GTR, and a Focus (but we will just forget about that horrible heap of a car).

Ill be posting as the day goes on and I go get the car! Pics will be up soon after!

Better approach is to drive it for a bit, see what needs improving. Then drive other cars with the specific mods you think you want and see if it really achieves what you think it will. Many performance mods extract a significant penalty on driving comfort. Also, the used market is enormous for Miata mods and parts. I personally sell a lot of used aftermarket stuff pulled form cars I restore and sell.
    Welcome and enjoy.

Welcome, have fun with your Miata.
On the track, I am fearless.
If you were as slow as me, you wouldn't be afraid either.

Just arrived home after the long trip to get the car. Some small things need to be done but overall the car is mechanically fantastic! Body needs some serious TLC but first order of business is getting the mechanical foibles addressed. Pictures tomorrow when it's actually daylight.
