Thread: Car Wash?

  1. #1

    Default Car Wash?

My car is filthy and since it is so nice today I thought about washing it when I get home. My question is I wanted to know if anyone has a reasonably priced brand of car wash that they recommend?

Honestly Shawn, I get the purple passion car wash from vatozone. They are/were running a deal to get 1 gallon for $3.99. It has great sudsing action...nicely concentrated.

Shawn- If you want some free stuff, give me a call. I have a couple different bottles of car wash soap, but like I said, I go to Car Spa.

I usually take it to an automatic car wash or use the high pressure sprayer at the do-it-yerself place.

No, I don't care about my paint because it's fugly in the first place

I was serious with my post... The P21S company actually makes some pretty good wheel/metal cleaning stuff that I will probably pick up. I'm still trying to find a good car "shampoo" though, I will probably pick out of the list I posted until I find something I like. I spent $350 at autogeeks last week and my shipment came in last night Now if I can figure out how to use everything I got

Lots of folks on Autopia like the DuraGloss car wash, but it's hard to find locally (Richardson/Plano at least). I've been using NXT wash, and I like it just fine. Both are cheap - I got the big jug of NXT at PepBoys for under $10.

Glad you found something that worked.

My car needs a bath desperately - hopefully I'll find time to bust out the PC before Hallett...
