But, you're vastly more funny than the kids on vwvortex.com - I was a VW freak for years, but after seeing/driving the NC, I sold my seriously modified Jetta 1.8T. The MX-5 is the only affordable sportscar that has caught my attention.
I'll give a $50 finder's fee to anyone sending me a buyer!
Now on eBay, and the reserve has been met - I could be in a MX-5 before the end of the month!

2005 Saab 9³ Arc 2.0L Turbo
It's a snug fit in the newly redesigned car (6'3" 250lbs) - my knuckles dragged the ground in a NA or NB, IF I could shut the door.
But I've wanted a "Miata" since they were new - my dad was a Porsche+Audi / Mazda dealer in OKC (Jack Robbins Imports, Ltd.) for over 20 years, and I grew up driving affordable lightweight sportscars (914, RX-7).
The way I see it, the new MX-5 will be a GREAT replacement for my highly modified Jetta 1.8T and Buell XB12S - lots of great mods available, and my wife likes that she can enjoy "open air motoring" with me (she wouldn't/couldn't ride on my bike).
Sold!!!
I finally sold it, so I'm on the prowl for leftover '06 MX-5 Sport 6-speeds. I've found one locally, and several in cities Southwest Airlines flies to (I work for SWA, so it'll cost me nothing to get there and cost me only the gas to get home).
Can't wait to meet y'all!
