Drifted the Murano to the Dr and then back home. Watched an idiot in a 300 fly by me doing 45, then hit the brakes 100 feet before the stop light as if it was any old day. He slid clear through the intersection. :rolleyes:
Left my house at 4:40AM. Drove from Wylie on watery roads all the way til Plano Parkway and Custer then drove on ice for 1+ miles to work. The parking lot at Central Market was a sheet of ice. I slid into my parking spot.Quote:

I was off anyway because of MLK day.
I just had a two mile drive to the TRE station. Trinity was a little slick, but not too trecherous. Being 6:30 AM, there was not a lot of traffic yet, which makes things easier.
I have to go to work... and work with the nitwits that tell you to stay home... geez... :punchout:

Drove the 28 miles to work with only one 360 getting on the access road to Bush from Custer
I went to work this morning. It took me about 45 minutes to get here (versus 15-20 minutes normally), but that was only because of all the idiots driving 11mph. :punchout:
I got here around 8am, and I was the only one in the department. Some of the others have trickled in since, but probably only half of our normal workforce.
I didn't have any trouble with the RX-8 on summer tires at all. Never even saw the traction control light up. Then again, today's commute was nothing compared to driving a rental minivan down a mountain pass in a blizzard, like I got to do over Christmas. ::Drive1::
Hahaha if I had a traction control light on the miata it'd be burnt out by now.

Skeleton crew here today. I keep overhearing other people brag about how they managed to out-drive everyone else on the way in.
I've seen most of them drive. They probably caused a lot of crashes this morning.
