You might also throw in that you would like some information on the various extended warranty plans "so you can start thinking about this ahead of time". Don't commit to it, just let them think that you likely will. I have nothing to base it on, but I would think they might be inclined to move another $250 on the price of the car if they think that they are going to be able to mark up a warranty by $500 on you once you move to the back room.

Seriously, there is a certian used one I'm interested in, but I can't pick it up until the end of September. If that doesn't work out, I'll probably just buy new and get the exact car I want. I'll just bring in the engine recall notice, remind the sales guy that they might have a hard time dumping inventory when the cars all have bum motors, and negotiate from there. :wink:

I kinda wish they had a better assortment of RSX's when I went up there. I had to choose between red and green (jade-ish metallic color). Or get a base... The red is growing on me though. It's been a while since I owned a car that wasn't black ;)
