Only three months to go!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I just got off the phone with Hampton Inn in Sand Springs. I got a room reserved for Friday and Saturday night at $96 a night with the taxes included using Arkansas Miata club rate. I asked how many rooms were left now and he said he has 6 left after mine.

Calling Gary! Am I in your list for 1 room like the past years?
Dad just called and reserved our room. Thanks for the heads up and reminder Nails.
I plan to go to my first Miatas@Hallett this year. Will sign up soon!
who/what organization or driving school is hosting this event?
I guess I will sign up this weekend. There is only 22 spots left for Fri!
Paid! I am officially in!
PAID!! 56 days to go!
Can't wait. Can't wait. Can't wait. Can't wait. Can't wait. Can't wait. Can't wait. Can't wait. Can't wait. Can't wait. Can't wait. Can't wait. Can't wait. Can't wait. Can't wait. Can't wait. Can't wait. Can't wait. Can't wait. Can't wait. Can't wait. Can't wait.
I have this friend and they were just wondering about this event. It is probably pretty obvious but...is this only open to driving a Miata at this event? If this somebody happens to own 2 Miatas but neither is going to be able to be operational for this event could that somebody join in with their base Z4 2.5I? Can't find any rules about who can or can not participate. Just interested for a friend, not me, I love Miatas and would never look at another, yeah just a friend not me...
Anything I tell you is officially UN-official. I attended in '08 and '09, there were 80 Miatas there each year, only Miatas.
For the definitive answer, check with Lewis Leslie at <<<[email protected]>>>. He is the Hallett Committee Chair.
lol
Yep Miatas at Halett is Miatas only. Not Miata owner's only.
An exception made was a LoCost running a Miata power train.
Anyone attending that plans to drive a truck. I am looking for a ride for a set of tires.
Also would like to know how the Friday track event works. I plan to drive up Friday morning from Keller.
Friday used to be open to Int2 and Advanced only and you were signed up for Saturday too. Now I don't know what the rules are.
Previous commitment cancelled. Registered today. Woohoo!
Sweet. I will give you a call.
Just paid for Saturday track time. Gonna be my first Miatas at Hallett, looking forward to it!
Dan take the other miata and work on the nut behind the wheel. :-)
Added the Friday session. I hear two days at Hallet is three times better than one.
5 weeks to go!
Apex send them your track experience maybe they'll say ok.
Anyone else on our forum who has been thinking about doing a track event for the very first time, this is a great venue to get your Miata on a track and not feel overwhelmed or out gunned by OTM's (other than miatas). Great instructors and casual atmosphere. Feels like summer camp with a zoom zoom!
"I would love to do the Friday's session as well, but I never ran Hallett before. I do not think they will grant me the exception to run Friday's will they?
It's such a long drive, would love to get as much track time as possible......"
This is my first experience at Hallet but as Nails said, they have my track experience. I really don't see it as a problem for you.
Actually sounds like a good plan and have been wanting to put some sticky tires on it and see what times I could get. Gotta figure a way to get both cars there. That would be fun for sure...hmmm.
Agreed on all counts. MaH was my first taste of track and the experience and atmosphere could not have been better. Even cone-cerned is coming back this year for seconds!
