Default I bet in the $30K range

Add a more exotic engine / suspension / trany / brakes...you can charge more. I bet a lot of people (me included) would pony up around 30K for that car....

My wife bought a CX-7 and I have been dreaming about that engine in my spec. Other than the slight turbo lag, it would absolutely be the perfect engine for a miata.

I like the idea, but it just seems they want a car to beat the solstice gxp which is great and all I just think maybe it's taking away from the whole idea of a light, high revving roadster. Who knows though, maybe I'll end up buying one one day.

Has anyone driven one of these motors yet? Any bad lag like a stock msm?

Perhaps they should go a similar route as Honda and make a motor with a 9K RPM range
    Blah blah blah!

They gave that idea up with the MSM.

With the numbers of the ms3 0-60 in 5.8 seconds, quarter mile of 14.6 and 3180curb weight. Whats this miata going to do? Sounds like a recipe for an a$$ whooping for the fellow competitors. As for the Honda motor, it's good but the power band is pitiful and of course the torque. I just don't see anything good out of Honda except econo cars. No offense to Honda lovers.

There is their Formula 1 program, you know. Oh wait, never mind.
On the track, I am fearless.
If you were as slow as me, you wouldn't be afraid either.

Default You mean the F1 program with Rubens and Jenson at the back of the grid?

See what all that $$$ can do for a F1 car and team?

Actually, there was surprisingly little lag between the turbo announcement and the complaints kicking in.
