Hi folks. It's not my first post either, but I have been miata-less for some time now. I'm still awaiting the shipment of my new-to-me 1993 LE from Virginia. I found the car at the miata.net classifieds and I'm really looking forward to driving it.![]()

Glad you made it!: LE's :

RED RULES!
90 Miata, 04 Rubicon, 05 Boxster
Oh yes, the introduction. The 1993 LE will be my 4th miata. I've had a 91 BRG, a 95 red, and a 99 silver. All wonderful cars but were driven sparingly since my wife didn't feel like a miata would be a safe commuter on 75 on my 48 mile round-trip daily trek from Plano to Dallas. These cars have new owners now, but I still think about them a lot. Specially the BRG.
I finally set-up shop in Plano this year and will just be commuting east and west on Parker Rd. So I searched far and wide for another miata, one that I would keep for years to come and enjoy everyday.
I grew up in the Philippines and came to the US after graduating from dental school. I took the long way to come to texas, starting out in San Francisco (University of California), then to Iowa City (University of Iowa), then to Gainesville (University of Florida), and finally to the Dallas area (Baylor College of Dentistry).
The 93 LE is scheduled to be here on Oct. 26.![]()

Congrats from a fellow LE owner. I trucked mine from California and actually bought it while on vacation. Hope you enjoy and see you around. I think I saw the car you bought on the miata.net classifieds and it was very clean (and he was asking a premium IIRC)

It was certainly quite a bit more than I was planning to spend on a miata but the car just looked so good. It was an emotional purchase, no doubt, and I don't get a lot of that. The PO is an avid miata collector and has done a mechanical refresh on the car and there is nothing left to do on the car but enjoy it. And THAT I will!

Enjoy the car, those are beautiful.
Congrats, welcome.
Welcome.
On the track, I am fearless.
If you were as slow as me, you wouldn't be afraid either.

I too have had my fair share, I started with 91BRG #2673.
But soon realised that Black Miata's look the best so I sold that old green car.
My wife drives a 92 Black and Tan and I drive the 93LE #737.
We also have a 95 Laguna and a 95M in the hanger.
They share it with a 1962 Thunderbird, 1959 Edsel, 1964 Chevrolet P/U, 1955 Dodge pushtruck, and a 1945 Jeep (Ford GPW).
Oh the 1949 Globe Swift and 1973 Piper Cherokee too.
Welcome, maybe we can get all of them together when we finally have a BBQ at Propwash.
