Yay, some good news!

I went to play last night at the Point After North in Flowermound.
Roy Orbeson's son Wesley Orbeson came out to see me play and enjoyed the music so much he offered to send my demo to some record exec. friends of his in Nashville!
Wesley is a super nice guy.
This could be the break I have been looking for.

I will keep you guys posted if it works out.

You probably know this, but once you have a foot in the door, it usually takes years to 'make it'. My ex knew Neal McCoy when he was in high school, won a local contest sponsored by Wrangler, and became a project. IIRC, it was about 10 years before his first release. I enjoyed listening to him play piano in a Chinese restaurant during the holidays for three years before he made it.

Keep playing and keep the faith.

Forget the Lotus; buy the ranch and find a sponsor to give you a truck - the Lotus front end would never survive the driveway at the ranch

I kind of dig playing the small venues, even if things turned out big I would still like to play the small rooms.
Oh and the ranch will be paved roads to the house, still might get a jeep wrangler though ....since i would be throwing away money at that point may as well get FM to fully build a motor for me....lol
