    Default I love my truck

768 miles today pulling 7K lbs of trailer and Jeep from Nathrop, CO to home. Averaged 14 MPG. And no problems pulling that weight at altitude. Cummins is goooooood!

It's OK to love your truck; just don't LOVE your truck.

Got to love the Cummins. I have a 2000 and trust me it can pull a couple tons more than that before you even really notice anything back there. So far I have had about 17k+ behind my 2500.

I do wonder why you only 14 mpg though? I get more than that around town. Normally about 17, and I have seen 23-24 on long road trips on the highway. And my right foot is heavy as hell.

Wind resistance with a Jeep on a flat bed gooseneck. The winds were really bad in the high plans.

I get 22-23 in my normal commute and around 25 on the highway while empty.
