Default Where can I find screws for the belly pan/plastic under cover?

    Hi all,

My 94 is missing the belly pan/plastic under cover, I purchased the pan from MazdaSpeed MotorSport. But I just realized the screws that hold the pan on are missing, where can I find them beside MSMS? Are they available from a hardware store if I find the right size?

    Thanks,

    Alan

Gary has a box of bolts you can sift through.

Lowes, Home Depot or any large hardware store will have them. I don't know what size(s) they are though. They are 10mm tops IIRC.

I thought it was 12 mm.

I think the front three have pointed ends for attaching to plastic and the rest are normal. Two of them are nuts instead of bolts.

If I buy them from the hardware store, do they have to be a special kind like weather-proof?

BR, thanks for the head up!

If you're willing to make the trek, Mazda Heaven in Kennedale (I-20 @ Business 287) will let you pick fasteners to your heart's content for next-to-nothing. I loaded-up two pocketfuls of every conceivable fastener for just this type of thing.

Stainless Steel should be fine. The bigger problem may be figuring out what thread pitch you need. I have been wanting to add one of these to my tool collection for that very reason.
