Thread: O2 Sensor Wiring, How to?

Default O2 Sensor Wiring, How to?

I need help in wiring the O2 sensor. I am replacing the dead CAT on my 99. The O2 sensor (the one after the CAT) won't off the old pipe. I am planing on cut off the wire to the old sensor to free the old pipe and hook up a new senor to the old wiring.

I need help in connecting which wire to the old wiring. The OEM sensor has 4 wires coming off it (one white, one blue and two black). The Bosch universal O2 sensor has one black, one gray and 2 white. Which one connects to which one? I find a table in the BOSCH package, looks like the two white from BOSCH is for the heater and connect to black wires on the OEM wiring (does it matter which one connect to which one?). The Black wire on the BOSCH connects to Blue one on the OEM. The Gray from BOSCH connects to the white one the OEM. Does this sound correct?

Any help I can get is much appreciated!

    Thanks!
    Gabriel

I agree, not the part you want to go TCB, especially since you plan on keeping the car a long time.
