Yes, this was a challenging course, and I never really got a flow going. There were definitely fast lines out there, but they were tough for me to find consistently. At least I finally have Novice all to myself! See ya, BenRomans. :)

5 runs and gone by 2:45 was good. Finishing 5th behind 2 Hondas and the constant wind was not.

Caitlin in a real car propped up by 2 pillows and blushing and giggling after spinning the car was worth the trip.

I saw autoxmax with his camera. I'm sure he will post some photos later.
On the track, I am fearless.
If you were as slow as me, you wouldn't be afraid either.

    It's you.

I enjoyed the course but old R-comps blow! Put on old tires in the front to save a little money and paid the price with a car that plowed thru the corners and put me behind on the back part. If you got behind there you were

Since we're above the equator I'm assuming those were all clockwise spins?

I just couldn't get in any kind of groove. I would get a good line on one section then screw up another. So an and so forth. The backend of the course was the worst.

On my last run of the day I got a DNF in the first quarter of the track by blowing past a slalom. I then consented to have some extra fun and proceeded to use the Miata like a sledge hammer beating my way though the course in the most classes fashion possible lol.

    It was a good time.

If you were not turning early on the back of the course (Ben was not in his video), then it would be very ugly. Remember, it takes .5 second to turn the wheel and at least that much again for the car to respond. You need to turn a second before you reach the cone if you plan to back-side it. Add on even more time if your car was already steering in the opposite direction. It would be great to have a test and tune at MW with something just like that so you can see the difference in speed if you turn early and get used to doing it all of the time. I still turn late. It's tough.

Yep if you got behind there it got ugly fast. Needed to back side the cones thru there.

This is what separates good autocrossers from great autocrossers. Some things just come from lots and lots of seat time this being one of them IMHO. Keep at it man!
