I got a new Sony camcorder, a Harbor Freight aluminum jack (Yay! No more lugging my 60 pound Larin to the track!), Cormac McCarthy's The Road and Garth Stein's The Art of Racing in the Rain.

I also got my dad to help me repair the step on the back porch and paint the nursery, which knocked two things off my Christmas vacation "to do" list.
