so i have access to a couple ko3 turbos off an S4 and now i have a couple questions for you guys.
1. if i could find a manifold for it (or had one made), what do you think about putting a ko3 on a 1.8 miata motor? it's the same turbo on the VW 1.8t, so i would think it would do just fine to get a miata to the mild horsepower range.
2. All plumbing and manifold issues aside, Do you think that i could run both of them? one turbo for two cylinders? i doubt it would get me any more power than just spinning the crap out of one but it would certainly be different wouldn't it?![]()

the kkk k03 is pretty small and has really quick spool, its should be good for about 250hp (i would assume) with good efficiency. There is also a rebuild kit on ebay going for about $100 incase you have any shaftplay, also make sure the housing isn't cracked if you get one, they have a weak spot near its internal wastegate area that usually cracks under stress (18psi).
twin K03's, lol.... sweet, but don't underestimate this turbo, its not that weak. I think that hardest thing about this idea would be the downpipe/s...

so i guess a t2 or t3 or t4 to kkk exhaust flange isn't a common thing? :) how much does a custom manifold cost?

K03 has a weird flange, it won't fit on a t3/t4. Do you know how to weld? You might have luck getting an exhaust manifold of an audi and play with that, $30 bucks at junkyards last i checked...
other than that i don't know about custom exhausts for this turbo, maybe 175 on ebay...

i plan on welding in the future. but do not have any equipment or knowledge yet. house will be done being built in may. then i'll have somewhere for all the tools and fun stuff.

where are you sourcing this turbos from and how much each... can you get the exhaust and dp from the jetta/golf/audi? if its too much you might just get a kit...

hi there mouglie i am a new on here and i have just bought a racing manifold for my vw golf gti turbo and the flange is made for a huge garrett you mentioned that you have a template for a flange so i can make one for my k03 untill i have the money for a bigger turbo ???
